Morning Mood on Boomwhackers
Morning Mood is a free color-coded Boomwhacker play-along on bimbadi: the notes fly toward your class in their tube colors on the smartboard or projector, with note names instead of lyrics. All you need is the 8-note diatonic set from C to high C. Grieg paints a sunrise in music; the piece comes from his Peer Gynt suite. Free, no sign-up, no ads.
The player’s menus are in German for now. Press ▶ and play: “Tempo” is the speed slider, “Tonart” means key.

Classroom idea
Let students listen with their eyes closed and draw what they saw before they play. Then play it gently, swaying in 6/8. A good opener for a lesson on program music.

The play-along is free. Colored sheet music for “Morning Mood” with a lesson plan is available on eduki (German edition).
💡 German sheet music uses the German note names: H is your B, and B means B♭. The colors are the same.
