Hark! The Herald Angels Sing on Boomwhackers
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is a color-coded Boomwhacker play-along on bimbadi: the notes fly toward your class in their tube colors on the smartboard or projector, with English lyrics to sing along. All you need is the 8-note diatonic set from C to high C. Low B is a tube with an octave cap. Felix Mendelssohn wrote the melody in 1840 for a festival honoring Gutenberg; the Christmas words were set to it later. This play-along is a bonus that comes with the colored sheet music on eduki; the code inside unlocks it.
The player’s menus are in German for now. Press ▶ and play: “Tempo” is the speed slider, “Tonart” means key.

Classroom idea
Tell the story first: a tune written for a printing-press festival became one of the best-known carols. Then play it slowly and with dignity. The low B is a B tube with an octave cap, so give it to one student for the whole piece.
