O Come, Little Children on Boomwhackers

O Come, Little Children is a color-coded Boomwhacker play-along on bimbadi: the notes fly toward your class in their tube colors on the smartboard or projector, with the German lyrics on screen. All you need is the 8-note diatonic set from C to high C. A gentle manger song by Johann Abraham Peter Schulz, sung in English as “O Come, Little Children”. This play-along is a bonus that comes with the colored sheet music on eduki; the code inside unlocks it.

Classroom idea

The tune rocks in a long–short–short rhythm. Clap that rhythm first and let students sway in their seats. Because the first line comes twice, the song is easy to remember.
