My Hat, It Has Three Corners on Boomwhackers
My Hat, It Has Three Corners is a color-coded Boomwhacker play-along on bimbadi: the notes fly toward your class in their tube colors on the smartboard or projector, with the German lyrics on screen. All you need is the 8-note diatonic set from C to high C. Each time through, one more word is replaced by a gesture. This play-along is a bonus that comes with the colored sheet music on eduki; the code inside unlocks it.
The player’s menus are in German for now. Press ▶ and play: “Tempo” is the speed slider, “Tonart” means key.

Classroom idea
At the gesture spots nobody plays: everyone only shows the gesture, which takes real concentration. The short, crisp notes in 6/8 make the joke work. Students who know the English camp-song version can sing it in English.
