Danse Macabre on Boomwhackers
Danse Macabre is a color-coded Boomwhacker play-along on bimbadi: the notes fly toward your class in their tube colors on the smartboard or projector, with note names instead of lyrics. You need the 8-note diatonic set plus the B♭ tube from the chromatic set. At midnight the clock strikes twelve and Saint-Saëns lets the skeletons dance. This play-along is a bonus that comes with the colored sheet music on eduki; the code inside unlocks it.
The player’s menus are in German for now. Press ▶ and play: “Tempo” is the speed slider, “Tonart” means key.

Classroom idea
Have one student count the twelve strokes out loud. Then play B and F together, the “devil’s interval”, and let students describe the sound. That is a good moment to introduce the word tritone.
