Spring from The Four Seasons on Boomwhackers
Spring from The Four Seasons is a color-coded Boomwhacker play-along on bimbadi: the notes fly toward your class in their tube colors on the smartboard or projector, with note names instead of lyrics. All you need is the 8-note diatonic set from C to high C. Vivaldi’s music tells of birds, streams and a thunderstorm. This play-along is a bonus that comes with the colored sheet music on eduki; the code inside unlocks it.
The player’s menus are in German for now. Press ▶ and play: “Tempo” is the speed slider, “Tonart” means key.

Classroom idea
Listen to the first movement and have students raise a hand as soon as they hear bird calls. Then the class plays the recurring theme. A natural way into program music.
