Wellerman on Boomwhackers
Wellerman is a color-coded Boomwhacker play-along on bimbadi: the notes fly toward your class in their tube colors on the smartboard or projector, with note names instead of lyrics. You need the 8-note diatonic set plus the G♯ tube from the chromatic set. A sea shanty from New Zealand that went viral online in 2021. This play-along is a bonus that comes with the colored sheet music on eduki; the code inside unlocks it.
The player’s menus are in German for now. Press ▶ and play: “Tempo” is the speed slider, “Tonart” means key.

Sailors sang songs like this while working on deck. Have students haul an imaginary rope to the beat while one group plays.
